NOMODOAI

Acceptable Use Policy

Welcome to Nomodo.ai. Our platform offers a unified API and SDK, enabling you to connect to and utilise various third-party Large Language Models (LLMs), act as a proxy for LLM interactions, connect to your private LLMs, and utilise our private LLM hosting services (note: full private LLM hosting capabilities are under active development and will be progressively rolled out). This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules for using our services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to this AUP and our Terms of Service. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of your account. We may update this AUP; your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. Please review this AUP regularly.

1. Our Goal & Your Agreement

Our mission is to make it super easy for developers to use powerful AI models. To keep things safe, fair, and responsible for everyone, we've created these rules. By using our Services, you're agreeing to stick to them. You are responsible for everything created through your account.

2. Playing by Everyone's Rules

Nomodo.ai connects you to AI models from companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others. When you use their models through our platform, you also need to follow their rules (their own Acceptable Use Policies). It's up to you to check them out and make sure you're in compliance.

3. What You Can't Do

To put it simply, don't use our Services to create or share anything that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others. This includes the following:

  1. Illegal or Deceptive Activities: Anything that breaks the law or helps others break the law. Creating content for scams, phishing, malware, or spreading disinformation and spam.
  2. Child Safety: This is a zero-tolerance rule. You must not create, share, or promote any content related to child sexual abuse, exploitation, or anything else that harms children. We will report any such activity to the authorities immediately.
  3. Hate, Harassment, and Violence: Creating content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against anyone based on who they are (like their race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or other identity). Bullying, harassing, or intimidating anyone. Glorifying violence, encouraging self-harm, or promoting terrorist activities.
  4. Privacy Violations: Collecting or sharing people's private information without their clear permission. Using our Services for surveillance or to track people without their consent.
  5. High-Risk Activities: To prevent real-world harm, you can't use our Services for things like developing weapons, managing critical infrastructure (like power grids or water treatment plants), or anything else that could cause serious physical injury.
  6. Unauthorised Professional Advice: Don't build services that give out automated legal, financial, or medical advice unless a qualified professional with the right licence reviews it first. You must always tell your users that AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional advice.
  7. Misleading People & Misusing AI: Be honest. Don't pretend that AI-generated content was made by a human if it's meant to deceive someone. You can't use the outputs from our Service to train your own competing AI models (this is sometimes called 'model scraping').

4. Your Responsibilities

  1. Be Transparent: If your app or service uses our AI, you should let your users know in a way they can understand.
  2. Keep it Secure: You are responsible for keeping your API keys and account details safe and sound.

5. How We Enforce These Rules

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected rule-breaking. If we find you've broken the rules, we might give you a warning, temporarily suspend your account, or permanently close it. We will also cooperate with law enforcement when required by law.

6. See Something? Say Something.

If you believe someone is misusing our Services or breaking these rules, please let us know by emailing us at: [email protected].
